Fe Luton: Writer
When Fe was deciding what to study at university she picked up a prospectus and never got past the first subject. Anthropology appealed to her passions for biology and environmental science, as well as her hunger to learn about other cultures. Three years later, she decided that continuing down the anthropology path was not for her, and that training to be a primary school teacher would be much more engaging. Given that anthropology essentially covered the entire National Curriculum, it really was a no-brainer!After ten fabulous years spent teaching in Early Years, KS1 and museums, Fe changed tack and entered the world of education research and writing. She spent nearly five years working as a lead researcher and writer for an online education service. But with two young children, Fe quickly realised that she was never likely to make it into the office by 8am every day, so she quit her day job and focused her full attention on developing a freelance career... joining the Relaxed Farming team was the icing on the cake!
